Almost directly from the airport, we arrived at Mary Mac's Tea Room. This very large restaurant is covered by autographed photos of celebrities that have enjoyed its down home southern cooking. Mom wanted to come. Its one of her favorites.
Dominic ordered the "Sauteed Onions & Mushrooms Beef Tenderloin" with a side of mac n cheese and a side of sweet potatoes mashed.
I went for the "Fried Chicken Breast" with a side of mac n cheese (how can you not) and spiced warm apples. Delish! All of it was super yummy. The mac n cheese was different... fluffy. Weirdly reminded us of my scrambled eggs.
For dessert, Charlie reluctantly allowed us to try his peach cobbler. I wasn't a huge fan, but I did LOVE their Strawberry Shortcake. Great way to end a very lovely meal!
